Basics on a Long Distance Relationship

The ending statement is what I find interesting about this video.

In the beginning

Well, I have been dating my girlfriend long distance secretly from her father for the past 14 months now, but during the winter break her father found out about us and he truly despises the idea of me dating her.  The big deal to him is that I am 21 and a junior in college, while she is 18 and a senior in high school.  He has never met me, because her parents are divorced and he only visits his daughter probably once every two years, because he is too busy with “work,” some father huh?  Well before I begin bad mouthing him anymore, I’ll just say he refuses to allow his daughter to move down to Florida to attend UCF, because he believes he knows best for her, when he has not even helped her throughout high school.

My girlfriend is not asking him for any financial support to move down here, nor any of his help.  She has earned financial aid and scholarships to carry her through and we both know this is going to be hard, but God willing were going to give it a go.
